The Birds Are Singing

From sunrise to sunset, there is peace and quiet,
The smells are better, the air is so pure.

The birds are singing, not a worry in the world
For all their troubles, have been locked up indoors.

We looked out the window, ran searching for the door
Do we stay in, or is it time to go?

When we come out marching, we have choices to make
